We all know humans want to spend as much time indoors as possible when it’s this hot and humid outside. What we don’t often consider, however, is that creepy, crawling insects want to do the same.

One common entrance for these pests is along the pipes coming into the house, as they like to crawl along that sweating moisture. However, even though that might be the preferred method of entrance, keep in mind pests can enter from about anywhere.

A common rule of thumb is if you can slide a coin through a crack, it’s big enough for most pests to squeeze through. If you can see light coming in from the outside, pests can find their way in.
